BIOGRAPHY
Jaimee Veronneau Roberts is a fiber artist residing in Rhode Island. She studied Apparel Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Accessory Design at the London College of Fashion. Currently, she is expanding her skills in handweaving under the guidance of Norma Smayda at The Saunderstown Weaving School. Through weaving textiles, Jaimee combines her sewing and design expertise with her passion for color and pattern, allowing her to create both wearable art pieces and striking artworks.
VISION
Jaimee Veronneau Roberts used this opportunity to experiment with natural colors, textured yarns, and historically significant New England weaving structures. Rather than her usual vibrant palette, she toned down her colors to emphasize the serenity and calm that the stunning shoreline brings to her personally.
