VISION
Claire Crews’ weavings are abstract compositions that engage in a dialogue with their surroundings. She primarily uses wool sourced from small ranches in Arizona and New Mexico. In her artistic practice, she emphasizes repetition, tone, shape, and shadow, while also exploring the architectural elements and utilitarian possibilities of textile and print design.
